Their journey proceeds through Pont-sur-Sambre to Landrecies, to OrignySainte-Benoite, to Moy, to La Fere, along the 'Golden Valley' to Noyon, and thence along the Canal du Nord to Compiegne.

July 1 (Tues) RLS and his wife arrive back in England after their sojourn in the South of France.
